Solution: After Exercise, you need a quick wash
An environment characterized by warmth and moisture, like the one present on the skin after exercising and sweating, provides an ideal breeding ground for bacteria, which can contribute to the development of inflammatory acne.
I recommend promptly rinsing off after exercise and changing out of damp workout attire. It’s worth noting that cleansing wipes can be irritating on heated, sweaty skin, so I generally do not recommend using them post-workout. If you’re unable to take a shower right after your workout, pack some fast-drying washcloths in your gym bag and use them for a quick wipe down of your face.

Hair products can trigger breakouts or skin irritation through two mechanisms: firstly, by promoting the blockage of pores in certain skin types, and secondly, by causing inflammation in the skin, leading to acne breakouts.
Comedogenicity testing, which assesses whether a substance blocks pores, is not typically conducted on hair care products since they are not formulated for application on facial skin. However, these products frequently contain alcohol, which can be irritating to the skin.
Solution: Experiment with a new product
Cease the use of any product that you suspect could be causing irritation or breakouts. If you have concerns about a particular product, consider abstaining from its use or switching to an alternative for a day or two to observe any improvement. Additionally, be sure to change your pillowcase regularly, as hair products tend to accumulate on it.

Sunscreen is a crucial but often overlooked skincare product that provides both immediate and lasting protection. Unfortunately, many men misuse sunscreen and miss out on its positive effects.
